Face To Face
"Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you and helping you find ways to deal with emotional issues. Sometimes the term "counselling" is used to refer to talking therapies in general, but counselling is also a type of therapy in its own right". - https://www.nhs.uk/
Sometimes in life we face difficulties and this is perfectly normal, it happens to us all at some point. We seek counselling for a variety of reasons whether that being a relationship breakdown, the mourning of a family member, depression, anxiety, or just because we need to talk to someone. We face many challenges in life and work, but you don't have to try to work it out alone. Counselling enables us to explore our thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Finding our own solutions to problems in a confidential and safe setting.
What To Expect
In the first session, we will take a few minutes to get to know one another and briefly explore troubles you are experiencing, including your story; this is called an initial assessment to explore your issues in brief, which will give us insight into our sessions going forward and whether this is right for you.
We also offer sessions via Skype and Zoom should this be easier for you.
